Having first joined Accor in 1986 as Development Manager, China and Hong Kong, Mr. Raymond Tong was appointed Accor's Vice President of Development, Greater China in 2005, and has most recently been promoted to assume a newly-created role as Executive Director and Vice President, Development, Greater China this past June, overseeing hotel network development as well as coordinating strategic owner relations. Based in Shanghai, Mr. Tong has been instrumental in Accor's significant network expansion in Greater China, playing a leading role in bringing on more than 100 hotels in the region.
